Movie Conventions research: Knives Out

 What makes "Knives Out" (2019) a good mystery movie? "Knives Out" is a great mystery movie because it has a puzzling story with lots of interesting characters and a detective trying to figure out what happened. The movie keeps you guessing until the end with unexpected twists and clever clues. The big house where everything happens adds to the classic mystery feel. What did you like about "Knives Out"? I liked how the movie mixed the classic murder mystery style with a modern touch. The actors did a great job, and the story had a good balance of funny moments and suspense. The details, surprising turns, and the detective, Benoit Blanc, were all things that made the mystery really enjoyable. Production Blog: First Day Filming

 We finally started filming today. Everyone arrived on time to my house. This was a great start. The first thing we did was organize our props. We need to assemble a few bags and some supplies to put inside. We decided to use duffel bags. We did this because they can open up to show lots of supplies. Once we had all of our supplies organized we started filming. The first things we shot were outside. We wanted to have a good establishing shot for our film. So, we spent way too long on that first shot. While we were outside we filmed the car shots as well. This meant we had to get in and out of the car and drive off several times to get the shot we wanted. After some time outside we finally moved inside. Now inside, we started filming the scenes with the props. Again, it took way longer for us to get the perfect birds-eye-view angle. Eventually, we got it right.
