 Hey everyone, I've got some exciting news to share! Our team has just completed our video project. However, now that we've wrapped it up, we're curious to get some outside perspectives. After asking around my class without much luck, I remembered a friend, Connor. His group graciously agreed to review our video in exchange for us reviewing theirs. In the whirlwind of filmmaking, one of the most challenging tasks we encountered was finding the perfect song to accompany our scenes. We knew that the right music could elevate our film to new heights, but finding it proved to be a daunting endeavor. Hours were spent scouring through endless playlists, searching for that elusive melody that would capture the essence of our story. Each member of our team had their own vision for the soundtrack, leading to passionate debates and conflicting opinions. Today marked the grand finale of our editing journey! Before wrapping up editing, we decided to film some extra scenes just in case. We were thrilled to capture these final moments outside of our usual locations. Opting for my mom's spacious van for the car scenes was a stroke of genius It provided ample room for all our equipment and crew. Filming inside the van was an absolute riot! We couldn't resist goofing around and having a blast. We decided to take a leisurely lunch break. After we refueled before diving back into our editing tasks. The afternoon breezed by as we finished off the remaining shots in just an hour. With some daylight left, we treated ourselves to some relaxing fishing again .  Now that we are done filming it is time to put it all together. We all agreed that Tom should be in charge of editing. He was in charge of editing for our last project together too. He has learned many new editing skills. Tom also has the best computer in our group. We were going to meet at his house, but decided to have our meeting over a phone call. This allowed more versatility for everyone. Our next step was figuring out which software to use. The options were Adobe or Cap-cut. After some deliberation we agreed on Cap-cut. After that we worked for a while. As Tom edited the clips together we would discuss what changes needed to be made. Maybe making a certain clip shorter or adding a certain effect to the scene. We definitely spent way too much time on the transitions though. I tried to integrate them into the clips, but it still took some time. The total time was about 4 hours.
