Production Blog: Final Filming Day

 Today's blog is the last one about filming. This blog is about any scenes that were not inside the house or in the street. This one is about the car scenes. The first step was figuring out whose car we wanted to use. We were fortunate to have several different options. We decided to use my moms van. We chose this because has the most space in the trunk. It was also the best for transporting all of our supplies. It would have been a little harder to fit all four of us in the car and all our equipment in any of our other choices. I thought yesterday's filming was going to be the most fun, but I was wrong. We all had a ton of fun driving around and filming. We took a break to get lunch around 2. Once again the filming went great. We got everything done within a reasonable amount of time. I think we only spent about an hour total filming. There really wasn't much left for us to do. After filming we all decided to go fishing. It was a nice and chilly day, so we wanted to do something outside. I had the idea to film some of our time fishing. I figured it would be a good idea to have if we wanted to add to our film later on.

Production Blog: Filming Part 2

 Todays blog is about filming, again. This time we filmed the night scenes. The best time for this was around 7 PM. The hardest part of the day was finding the right place. The street had to be empty. Traffic would have made filming in the middle of the street really hard. It could also have been too loud for the camera and blocked out our voices. To find the best street we just drove around. We spent almost 45 mins searching for the perfect place. Eventually we found it. It was just what we were looking for. It was dark and had almost no traffic. We got our places set up and got ready to film. Our group went over the script again. Then the angles and movements needed. Once everyone was ready and in place we started. These outdoor scenes were really fun to film. The only issue was the cold. We were outside for a while and it was windy. Filming took about 2 hours. Overall today went great and I'm excited for the next one.
